6th Annual Elliot Curwin Memorial Golf Tournament, Tuesday June 10, 2008

Elliot Curwin passed away on January 23, 2003 after a brief battle with cancer.

More than the retired president of VP Supply Corp., Elliot demonstrated leadership in the business community and many Not for Profit organizations. Among others Elliot involved himself in the Chamber of Commerce's Small Business Group, Rochester Home Builders, and Rochester Community baseball. The Rochester Red Wings may never have gotten their new home - Frontier Field - without Elliot's leadership and energy.

A great friend to many people, Elliot always had time to listen to everyday life stories and problems. He never stopped to ask if there was anything in it for him, he was always ready to help. He represented a true champion of the "underdog".

In memory of Elliot's leadership roles in Rochester's Not for Profit organizations, proceeds from the memorial golf tournament go back to the community he cared so much about.
