Elliot Curwin passed away on January 23rd, 2003 after a brief battle with cancer.

Elliot was more than just the retired president of VP Supply Corp, he was a leader in the business community and many Not for Profit organizations. He was actively involved with the Chamber of Commerce's Small Business Group, Rochester Home Builders and Rochester Community Baseball. The Rochester Red Wings may never have gotten their new home (Frontier Field) without Elliot's leadership and energy. Elliot was a great friend to many people, always taking time to listen to someone. He was selfless and always willing to help a person in need; a true champion of the underdog.

In memory of Elliot's leadership in Rochester's Not for Profit organizations, proceeds from the event go back into the community he cared so much about. Here is a list of the organizations that will benefit from this years tournament:

We try to replace their negative activities with positive activities in the community.
