Henrietta-based VP Supply has enlarged its footprint again with the acquisition of Aird Dorrance, a 50-year-old plumbing, heating, kitchen, lighting, flooring and industrial supply firm.

VP Supply, run by the Curwin family since 1965, offers a similar line of services, as well as renewable energy products.

Its acquisition of Aird Dorrance, now a division of VP Supply, adds showrooms in Ballston Lake, Saratoga County, and Morrisonville, Clinton County, as well as warehouses in Morrisonville and Clifton Park, also in Saratoga County.

VP Supply now has 10 locations across upstate as well as in Erie, Pa.

The move will also add 35 employees to VP Supply's work force of 225.
