Pilanesberg National Park - Bakubung Bush Lodge & Sun City
May 5 - 7, 2009
Only a short 90 minute drive from Joburgh, Pilanesberg is a 200 square kilometer, game reserve nestled inside the crater of an extinct volcano. The park exists within a transition zone between the dry Khalahari and wetter Loveld vegitation, making it a biodiverse region where there is a unique overlap of mammals, birds and vegitation. Pilanesberg is also completely Malaria free.
At Bakubung Bush Lodge your wildlife experiences are best shared at a blazing campfire, while marveling at the spectacle of innumerable stars at the exclusive Boma Lapa in the Pilanesberg National Park. Hot air balloon safaris as well as Elephant back safaris are another very exciting way to get to know the African bush.
Known as Africa's Kingdom of pleasure, and located a short distance from Bakubung Lodge, Sun City is the get away of choice for anyone not interested in the African Safari. The sprawling resort complex offers everything, from awe-inspiring golf courses, world class gambling facilities and water sports. There is no shortage of sinful pleasures in Sun City.
