1) What documents do you need for traveling to South Africa?

You only need a valid US passport for travelling to South Africa. Visa's are not required.

3) Should I be worried about my health?

South Africa is a safe destination with good levels of hygiene and drinkable water. For the 3 day Safari part of the trip we will be staying at Bakubung Bush Lodge in the Pilanesburg region where there is minimal evidence of malaria. For the remainder of the trip you will be in the cities of Johanesburg and Capetown where malaria is a non-issue.

Inoculations are not required for adults. However, if you would feel safer, consult with your personal physician about immunization pre-cautions at least 4 - 8 weeks prior to departure.

4) Is there an itinerary available for this trip?

At the moment a general itinerary is available the South Africa Page of this website. Later during the year you will be provided with a more detailed itinerary for your 10 day vacation.
