- DO NOT use pipe dope on FIP swivel threads
- Do not allow CPVC portion of fitting to be heated
- MIP and FIP swivel connections mean no more torch at the tub/shower valve
- 1-1/4 in radius bend for decreased turbulent flow and noise
- Elongated tailpiece allows for rigid bracket attachment
- Use Caution when soldering Whenever possible, solder with CPVC socket facing downward
- If CPVC joint is above solder joint, plug temporarily with nipple and cap to prevent chimney effect
- Always apply torch to valve, not to the fitting
- Use a commercial heat blocking agent between solder joint and CPVC joint
